How long is the tour?

Our tours are approximately 1.5 hours and covers a distance of about 1.75 miles.

Cancellations/Refunds?

We're pretty lenient but we can't offer refunds for any cancellations made 72 hours or less prior to your tour. It's extremely difficult to sell your spot at this point. However, we will give you credit for another tour.
If you need to cancel 72 hours or more prior to your tour, just send a text to (317)854-2284 or email contact@indywalkingtours.com and we'll give you a full refund. Easy peasy.

Will there be any breaks on the tour?

We won't be taking a break but if you really need one, we will certainly accommodate. That being said, be sure to use the restroom and grab a drink before we begin.

What if it rains?

As long as it's not pouring or lightning, we go for it! If undoable, we'll try to reschedule you and if that's not possible we will refund you. Weather forecasts are sometimes unreliable in Indianapolis so decisions on changes are made THE DAY OF and you'll be kept updated via text message!

What if I'm Late?

We won't hold a group up, but if you're running late we'll do our best to help you catch up via texting a Google Maps pin. The guide is unable to answer the phone when the tour starts, so just be on time and you're good to go! But if you do happen to miss a tour we'll do our best to reschedule you if there's room on another. If you are a few minutes behind, 99% of the time our first stop at the Veterans Memorial Plaza (aka Black Obelisk). Look for your guide in a bright orange shirt!

Where do we meet?

Our tour begins and ends at: The Taco Bell Cantina located at 24 W. Washington St. near The Capital Grille

Where do I park and is it free?

Metered street parking is available almost everywhere near the starting point. It is very reasonably priced on Saturdays and free on Sundays.
